Where every word came from.
This service reproduces Commonwealth law. It is right that it says so plainly, and that you can go and check the source yourself.
The instruments
Statements of Principles are made by the Repatriation Medical Authority and published on the Federal Register of Legislation. The Guide to Determining Impairment and Compensation (GARP M) is a legislative instrument published on the same Register.
Both are © Commonwealth of Australia and licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International, which permits commercial use with attribution and an indication of changes.
What we changed
Nothing in the factor text. It is reproduced verbatim and unaltered, and the tool is tested to keep it that way.
What we added is structure: an index of which instrument governs which condition, which standard of proof each applies to, which clause each factor sits at, and which conditions the instruments name inside each other. Those structured representations are derived works, and they are ours. The words themselves are not.
The GARP M combined values chart is not reproduced. Chapter 18 states that its values are derived from a formula, so the formula is implemented rather than the table copied.
What is not covered by that licence
Departmental policy material published on CLIK is not on the Federal Register and is not covered by the same licence. It is not reproduced here.
Not affiliated
AgentOS Claims is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of the Department of Veterans' Affairs, the Repatriation Medical Authority, the Australian Defence Force, or the Australian War Memorial. Use of the words "veteran" and "claims" in the name describes who it is for and what it is about, and implies nothing more.

Checking us
Every answer in the tool carries the instrument number and the clause. Put that number into the Federal Register and you will find the same words. If you ever find you do not, tell us — that is the most serious kind of fault this service can have.
